Tickle Me Licco Mint

I was worried the licorice would overpower everything, but the aniseed and fennel keep it mellow while the ginger adds a nice warmth at the back of the throat. Steeped it 4 minutes and got a really smooth cup with no bitterness.

The lemon myrtle gives it a bright citrus lift that balances the heavier licorice and aniseed notes perfectly. I've been steeping it for a full five minutes and the ginger warmth keeps the finish from feeling too sweet.

The licorice and aniseed come through warm and smooth, while the ginger adds just enough bite to keep it interesting. I've been steeping it for the full five minutes and the mint stays refreshing without ever turning sharp. This is my new afternoon ritual.
